Установить видеорежим под Ubuntu

Есть 40" LCD-панель, производителем заявлено разрешение 1366x768. Мучусь второй день, не могу под ubuntu выставить нужный видеорежим.
Кто может помочь?

Заработает только в случае если железо поддерживает 1366x768. Вообще Xorg.0.log зааттачить не мешало бы, после запуска иксов естно.

Видяха Geforce 9400 gt, может быть получится 1360x768 - для моника тоже ОК.

Хм...

Many Wide XGA panels do not advertise their native resolution in the standard timing descriptors, instead offering only a resolution of 1280×768. Some panels advertise a resolution only slightly smaller than the native, such as 1360×765. For these panels to be able to show a pixel perfect image, the EDID data must be ignored by the display driver or the driver must correctly interpret the DTD and be able to resolve resolutions whose size is not divisible by 8.

может попробовать выключить получение информации о разрешении из EDID:

В общем, пока безрезультатно... Не могу выставить сей видеорежим, хоть стреляй.

Заводской режим - на коробке написано - именно 1366x768.
